Banks blank URP workers

By RIA TAITT and ROXANNE STAPLETON Friday, July 6 2007

THE majority of banks, apparently not wanting to deal with Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) workers, turned down the opportunity to become the service provider for debit cards for this category of government employees, numbering around 35,000.

Local Government Minister Rennie Dumas told a post Cabinet press conference at Whitehall yesterday that from October 1, URP workers would be able to access their wages via a debit card system which could be used at either the bank or the point of sale.

But only one bank responding to Government’s invitation to tender and that was the 100 percent state-owned First Citizens Bank (FCB).

Simple! The fockin civilised people in the banks doh want to deal wid ah set of unruly, foul smelling stink fockin Laventille people.

The assholes does always be in the fockin bank cussin about how dey salary aint reach yet, and dey ha to pay for the gold teeth and nike shoes.

Betcha dem banks have celebrations...

Them same ole niggers does line up in the bank every focking morning just to go in and withdraw $10 to buy lottery tickets, wasting the time of people who come to do real banking. Same shit they does do in the focking blue bus.
