New CoP in House today?

TODAY could see a new Commissioner of Police (CoP) being named to replace the outgoing incumbent CoP Trevor Paul whose age makes him expected to retire before year-end.

The House of Representatives is due to debate a motion to appoint a new CoP and Deputy Commissioner, according to views expressed at the last sitting by Leader of Government Business, Ken Valley.

Yesterday sources were suggesting the new CoP appointee could be Assistant Commissioner (ACP), James Philbert.

He is a qualified attorney-at-law. As such he would be well-positioned to hold the top post under the new management regime under the Police Reform Bills whereby promotion will no longer be on the basis of seniority but by meritocracy.

Really? Does it make sense to replace one nigga with another?

Same fockin khaki pants if you ask me.

Now the only good thing about this is that the appointment will be debated in Parliment and I hope the Opposition makes use of the fockin opportunity to research and investigate these ole niggas who will be occupying this fockin useless position.
